[Discover/Listen/Download] – Mesita – [Indie/Rock]

I owe this guy an apology.

22 year-old James Cooley (or Mesita under his musical moniker) sent me his music a while ago and it’s taken me this long to get it up on the site.  So apologies, James.

He’s been releasing music for a couple of years now, most of which is available for free on his Bandcamp page.  The timing of this post might just be perfect since his music is carefree with a sunny disposition, mostly acoustic Indie-Pop gems with smatterings of Sufjan Stevens, Jazz and Rock.  That may seem like a strange combination but trust me, it works.

Check out his EP “No Worries” below and then head over to his Bandcamp page and go crazy downloading the rest of his music.  He’s recording an LP at the moment and hopes to have it out by September, so check back here because I’ll have more of his stuff as it becomes available.
