[Discover/Listen/Download] – Vacation Club – [Indie/Garage-Rock]

Vacation Club are a four-piece from Lafayette and Indianapolis, Indiana,  comprised of Sam, Brandon, Jered, and Jacob.  They make infectious garage rock tunes, tinged with 50s doo-wop melodies and jangly guitars.

I was turned onto them by Burnt Ones’ Facebook page, and since Burnt Ones make such good music themselves I had to trust their judgement when they said the song was “a slayer”. So I contacted Vacation Club and Sam was kind enough to send me said song; “Getting Man Dr Pepper Mix”.  He also told me that they’re self-releasing their debut 7″ hopefully in June and for their second release they’ll hopefully be signed by then.
