Transitioning from one season to the next as we leave summer behind and prepare for Autumn, can be a shitty experience.
For me it is anyway since I love Spring and Summer, and only enjoy Autumn for about two weeks where it’s cool and breezy and the sun hasn’t started setting at 2pm yet. Winter can just fuck right off, but one thing I do like about Autumn and Winter is being cooped up inside where it’s nice and warm when it’s cold and dull and miserable outside. Part of the appeal of being trapped indoors is you can let yourself get immersed and lost in music, and that’s where Joshau LeMasters comes in.
Dirty, Lo-Fi, Indie-Folk, inspired by Ryan Adams, written by Iron & Wine, and all brought together by The Shins. This isn’t his only release though; on his Bandcamp page he has another whole album that’s available as a free download, and it’s equally as good. The song below is from “Cold Houses”, his latest release that you can get from Bandcamp for a measly $6, and for a beautiful, auditory companion through the next few months of impassive solitude, that’s a fucking good deal.
