Back in November French electronic duo Air announced that they’d be releasing a new album in February that would soundtrack the classic 1902 film of the same name: “Le Voyage Dans La Lune” which is being restored and colourised.
Among the new tracks are two collaborations with Beach House‘s singer Victoria Legrand on “Seven Stars” and “Cosmic Trip” as well as a track with Au Revoir Simone. Below you can hear another of the tracks from album called “Sonic Armada (A Trip to The Moon)”, an instrumental but quirky number that only slightly borrows from their sound-of-old.
“Le Voyage Dans La Lune” is out on February 7th via Astralwerks.
