Everyone seems to be jazzed about the new album by The Black Keys – including Alex Winston. She recently released this cover of “Everlasting Light”. Winston, no stranger to creating cover gems, released an EP in 2010, titled “The Basement Covers”.
This cover is a stripped down acoustic version with Winston’s twisty, yet amazing voice and an intoxicating percussion accompaniment. Originals or covers, her songs are unique and electrifying. Winston also reminded us that her new full-length album drops March 5th.
