Listen to the new Band Of Skulls album “Sweet Sour” below.
It’s February, so that means Band Of Skulls are about to drop their sophomore album “Sweet Sour”, but it also means a bunch of other things too, like “are you ready for leap day!?”.
On February 7th they’ll release “Sweet Sour”, the follow-up to 2009′s “Baby Darling Doll Face Honey”, and if you’ve been following the tracks they’ve been releasing from the album over the last couple of months like “Devil Takes Care Of His Own” and “Bruises” then you should have a fair idea of what the album sounds like.
On their debut there were monolithic tracks that seem to have been left out for the most part here, in place of well-constructed and more deliberate foot-thumpers with a crunching metallic (and melodic) sheen.
