Bon Iver (Justin Vernon) has been a critical darling over the last few weeks with his recent self-titled release; the mayor of Milwaukee has gone as far as to declare a “Bon Iver Day” to celebrate the hometown hero.
During the holiday, Bon Iver played 2 concerts over the weekend to sold out crowds at the Riverside Theater– for Friday’s concert encore, Vernon surprised the audience with his beautiful rendition of Björk‘s “Who Is It? (Carry My Joy on the Left, Carry My Pain on the Right)” off of “Medúlla” (recorded live by Twenty Four Bit).
