Listen to Cloud Nothings new album “Attack On Memory” below.
Dylan Baldi’s Cloud Nothings know how to turn around an album. Having already released a multitude of singles, free downloads, EPs, and other goodies in the last couple of years, their latest album “Attack On Memory” was done in just four days.
The album is definitely a progression from their last LP, 2011′s “Cloud Nothings”, showcasing a harder and more edgy sound, with tracks that make their way past the four minute mark (and “Wasted Days” almost hits 9 minutes). Their last album was fast-paced and snappy, most tracks clocking in at under three minutes, but this time around whilst they retain that snappy and jagged sound as on “Stay Useless”, there are parts of velvet-covered edges here and there, like the previously heard “No Sentiment”.
Stream the album below, out on January 24th via Carpark Records, and let us know what you think in the comments. Do you like more than their self-titled album?
