With their latest album “Teen Dream”, Beach House have made a thoughtful and beautifully lush album, comprising the best parts from both of their previous albums (“Devotion”, 2008, and “Beach House”, 2006) and blending them into a dream-pop wonderwall of sound. Promotional duties for this album have included festival appearances, late night chat show appearances, headlining tour date appearances and radio appearances, the latter being featured here.
Thanks to Peenko‘s apparent love for letting me rip off his radio rips (it’s about the only way I can get a hold of these performances from back home) I now have to sessions they did for two radio stations in the U.K. The first from February 17th when they performed “Norway” and “Used To Be” for BBC6 Music, and the second from March 10th when they performed “Lover Of Mine”, “Walk In The Park”, and “Zebra” for Radcliffe and Maconie. All of these songs are on “Teen Dream” so you’ve got half the album here, but I’d definitely urge you to go buy it, you will not be disappointed.
