New Manhattan are like an unsigned ball of indie perfection.
One listen through “Come On” and I was already referring to them as a stripped down version of The Strokes meets the younger and even more angsty We Were Promised Jetpacks. By about the sixth listen I put all comparisons aside, “These guys are fucking good” is about all that’s really needed to express what New Manhattan sound like.
Don’t even get me started on their being from London or the fact that all of the dudes are sixteen, these guys are poised with so much potential it’s disgusting. Right sound, right location, not even legal, and their giving their music out for free what’s not to love about New Manhattan.
This is one of the few bands that get me really excited to share with people so I’m predicting huge things in New Manhattan‘s future. Get the “Try My Hardest” EP for free from their bandcamp.
