As far as I’m concerned “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix” was a better album than “Merriweather Post Pavillion”, but I think most would disagree with me.  However, in the midst of Phoenix’s insane amount of media attention, #1 album, late night TV appearances and Grammy awards, they also toured the globe and yesterday they released eight songs that they recorded live in Sydney, Australia at the start of this month.
