Brooklyn duo Ex Cops‘, which is made up of Brian Harding and Amalie Bruun, gets the honor of being the first release from Other Music Recording Co. the label ran by the famous New York record shop Other Music in collaboration with Fat Possum.
Their debut 7” really does sound great, feeding off really varied and nifty influences, and I’m getting excited to see how their debut album, which is due this August, turns out. For now, listen to “You Are A Lion, I Am A Lamb” below.
