Whether you’re an avid listen of Indie Folk music or not, it doesn’t take an aficionado of said genres to tell that after only a few bars of any First Aid Kit song the sister-duo have passion and emotion surging through their veins.

Such was the case on their critically-acclaimed debut album “The Big Black And The Blue”, and as is the case on its followup “The Lion’s Roar”, two years in the making and filled to the brim with earnest melodies, contemplative lyrics, haunting choruses, and two songwriters with a knack of pulling at your heartstrings like not many other artists are able to.
