[Listen] – Gorillaz – “DoYaThing” ft. Andre 3000 and James Murphy

Listen to Gorillaz‘s new song “DoYaThing” below, featuring Andre 3000 from Outkast and James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem.

As has been reported over the last few weeks, Gorillaz have teamed up with Outkast‘s Andre 3000 and LCD Soundystem‘s main dude James Murphy for one of the most anticipated collaborations in a while. The collab is to promote their work with Converse to create and design a new Gorillaz-themed shoe.

“DoYaThing” is available as a download via the Converse website and below you can check it out for yourself.

Plastic Beach was an actual studio album. The Fall was created entirely on an iPad while touring the states. I wouldn’t count TF as a follow up album to PB. Plus, it was originally released as a free download on their website. You get what you pay for.

Seriously, though. Can we get an OutKast album now? There really hasn’t been a true OutKast album (with 3000 and Big Boi on most of the songs together) since 2000 and Stankonia. And all 4 “true” OutKast albums are classics.

Sounds like Feel Good Inc tripped and fell into James Murphy’s stale beat from Watch the Tapes. Andre tried to catch them but they all fell and someone broke an elbow. Shame.
