Since The White Stripes split up back in February Jack White‘s been keeping himself busy with collaborations with a group of face-painted….”Juggalos”, as well as releasing and producing music via his Third Man Records label, and now he’s taking part in a 20th anniversary compilation by Q Magazine honouring U2‘s seminal 1991 album “Achtung Baby”.

The compilation features artists like The Killers, Damien Rice, Nine Inch Nails, Snow Patrol, and Glasvegas, but as a wee taster we’ve got our first listen at Jack White’s venture, “Love Is Blindness” and he kills it. At around the 1:21 mark he kicks it up a notch and lets his voice rip and his guitar solo wails like something from “Icky Thump”, and you can check out the original below too.
