[Listen] – Lana Del Rey – “National Anthem”

Listen to this new Lana Del Rey song “National Anthem” below, from her upcoming album “Born To Die”.

The majority of you are probably thinking one of these things:

1. Fuck yeah, new Lana Del Rey!
2. Fuck no, not more Lana Del Rey!
3. Please tell me she didn’t cover Radiohead!
4. Please tell me she didn’t cover my country’s national anthem!
5. I thought my aneurysm had subsided!

All of those thoughts would have merit, apart from #3, thankfully she hasn’t touched one of the holiest of Radiohead holy. This is in fact another new track from her debut album “Born To Die” that’s out at the end of the month/start of next. The track’s actually got a pretty tight beat and she does that “I can’t decide if I should pout-sing this track or pout-rap it….ahh fuck it I’ll do both”.

Amazon has the tracklisting of her album, 12 songs in length and described as “Debut album from ‘Video Games’ singer Lana Del Rey”. Yeah, that’s about right.
