As was reported last year, Major Lazer‘s new album Free The Universe has a track that features Vampire Weekend singer Ezra Koenig’s dulcet tones, and though the album has been pushed back to April 15th from its initial February 19th release date, the new track has made its way online.
“Jessica” was played for the first time on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio show this weekend and a rip of the laid-back reggae-tinted track can now be heard below. Not sure if this will be released as an official single yet, but with a name like Ezra’s attached to it, it’s pretty safe to say it will be.
Vampire Weekend are set to release their new album Modern Vampires Of The City on May 6th, with their first official track “Diane Young” hitting the airwaves on March 18th.
