Dum Dum Girls’s new album “Only In Dreams” is being released next week and in anticipation of the release their label Sub Pop have put a stream of the album.
The girls have already managed to enthrall us with the 2 or 3 cuts from the album we’ve heard already like “Bedroom Eyes”, and maybe it’s just me but I keep keep keep going back to “Coming Down”. I’m a sucker for those misery-tinged atmospheric balladeers and that’s no exception.
The whole album isn’t as slow and methodical as that track though, so if you’re looking to be tapping your feet, whistlin’ your lips, bobbin’ your head, and having tracks stuck in your head then all you have to do is listen to tracks 1-10 and you’ll be set. “Only In Dreams” by Dum Dum Girls is out via Sub Pop on September 27th.
