As we leave Summer and make our way into Autumn we have a bumper couple of months lined up, not just with some amazing albums in the pipeline but also some great shows too.
September especially has some huge albums coming out, with St. Vincent, CANT, Laura Marling, Wild Flag, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Twin Sister, Wilco, Dum Dum Girls, and of course Neon Indian‘s second album “Era Extraña”.
The first few cuts off the album in “Polish Girl” and “Fallout” have been pretty good, but thankfully my expectations for the follow-up to 2009′s “Psychic Chasms” weren’t too high, just because I woudn’t let them so they didn’t end up being dashed if it didn’t meet them. This is my first listen too, so again thanks to NPR we have the full stream below, a week before it’s released.
