Usually what happens late at night is that Avi Buffalo, after they park their magic carpet and slide down the dinosaur back and tail into their living room, get online and upload random pieces of music and noises and whatever the fuck else they can think of to their Soundcloud account.
Thankfully though they actually mention when there’s some new music being posted, like they did in the wee hours of this morning, so that you’re not checking every single thing that they upload. I used to do that…..until I realised it was unlikely any of it would ever have substance. This one time though there’s substance, a four minute slow-jam wouldn’t sound too out of place on last year’s Gayngs album or last year’s album by Avi Buffalo themselves.
As they tweeted it was written and recorded “today” which was presumably now yesterday, March 21st, with Valente Bertelli at his house in L.A and is tagged as a RUFFM1X, so maybe they were just jamming or maybe there’s some serious recording shit going down and we might see another album by the guys this year (I’m reluctantly leaning more towards the former though). Awnyhoo, give it a swifty and see what you think.
