Zane Lowe has once again been off gallivanting around the world being the ambassador for awesome, but now that he’s back he’s only gone and dropped the first play of some more new Fleet Foxes jams.
“Battery Kinzie” will presumably be the next single from their hugely-anticipated second album after we heard “Helplessness Blues” at the end of January, and I’m gonna so far as to say that with this new song they’re on their way to having an album that might rival their self-titled debut.
You can check it a radio rip out below but more importantly they’re auctioning off a test pressing of the 12″ single “Helplessness Blues” that is rare and special, with all proceeds being donated to help the relief effort in Japan. I’m also doing the same thing, any music bought via the site for the month of March will be donated to The Red Cross (or another more suitable charity).
