The Foo Fighters are back and releasing their first single “Rope” from their upcoming album “Wasting Light”, their 7th installment, the new track is a great listen, mixing soft and smooth vocals with classic grunge and hard rock guitar strokes. While we can’t be sure what the new album will sound like, from listening to “Rope” the new song sounds reminiscent of “The Colour and the Shape”, however, let’s hope that the new album shows growth and reinvention.
The band have released the tracklist for “Wasting Light” on their website, which is due out April 12, 2011 and they also released a video for “White Limo” this past Valentine’s Day which you can watch below.
