Whilst the song title leaves a little to be desired, the song hits the spot.
When they released “Live Those Days Tonight”, their first single from their upcoming second album “Pala”, I wasn’t really feeling it. I mean it was good but I couldn’t get into it like I did with almost every song on their debut self-titled album “Friendly Fires”. Then I watched their performance of “Live Those Days Tonight” live on Jimmy Fallon and they completely sold me on the song, the performance was vibrant and energetic, unreserved and fun, and that’s how most of their songs are on record so I was thankful it transferred to their live show.
Tonight they premiered another new song from “Pala” called “Hawaiian Air” on Zane Lowe’s radio show, a more rhythmic and breezy dance anthem that I’m sure will populate their new album, out in 11 days!
