[Listen] – New Song By Friendly Fires – “Live Those Days Tonight”

It’s been a long-time-coming, for me it’s been too long, since Friendly Fires released new music from a new album and now that wait is over.

It’s been two and a half years since their self-titled debut dropped and almost four years since their “Cross The Line” EP, the tunes that first introduced me to the band.  Then back in 2009 they released a song all by itself called “Kiss Of Life”, a tribal dance groove born on the shores of a distant sun-drenched island.  It might even be their best song to date, although “Skeleton Boy” certainly gives it a run for its money.

“Live Those Days Tonight” is the first song taken from their upcoming second album “Pala” due out on May 16th and it was premiered on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio One show tonight you can hear the radio rip below. They’re playing Jimmy Fallon tonight too….so what do you think?
