We’re less than a month away from San Francisco’s Girls and their latest album “Father, Son, Holy Ghost” and even though the album leaked a week or so ago thanks to some fuckwit Swedish journalist, for the most part it’s stayed out of blogs and sites.
The first track we heard was “Vomit” and I don’t think I heard a bad word about it, it was a departure from the saccharine Indie-Pop jams found on their last album “Album”, also clocking in at six minutes long, but today NPR premiered the opening track from the album, a slightly harder take than “Vomit” in the form of “Honey Bunny”.
Father, Son, Holy Ghost” drops on September 13th via True Panther but until then, whet your pallete with “Honey Bunny”.
