[Listen] – New Song By Noah And The Whale – “L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.”

Taken from their upcoming third album “Last Night On Earth” set to drop in March, “L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.” is our first listen at what we can expect from the quintet outta London.

I was big into these guys when their first album “Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down” was released back in 2007 and then kinda went off them with their second album “The First Days Of Spring”, but if I’m gonna judge their upcoming album by this new tune, I think I’m gonna like it.  The song was played on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio One show yesterday so keep in mind this is a radio rip and quality is definitely not great.

It’s jumpy and optimistic and as Audry over at Eggs And Their Shells points out, it’s not a whole lot unlike Tom Petty’s “Don’t Come Around Here No More” with a hint of Talking Heads.  Give them both a listen and let me know what you think.
