It’s a shame that new music from The Streets may soon be a thing of the past, but for the last nine years or so it’s been one hell of a ride.
Mike Skinner’s never really been much of a public figure, refusing to do interviews or photo shoots when he first started out but then that gave way a little as he became a voice for U.K. Hip-Hop in the early-mid 2000′s. Now readying his final release (or so he says) as The Streets, Computers And Blues is a 14-song apparent Hip-Hop, Rave-Rock “insanity”, so maybe we can expect The Streets meets Klaxons?
I guess we’ll have to wait until February 18th when it drops, but until then Shey from SOKA got his hands on a radio rip of the below tune that was played on Zane Lowe and so now it’s here for all of us to hear. Here. Oh, and apparently it took three people to take that album cover picture above, weird eh?
