Recorded as part of a new TV series being shown in the U.K. from April, Trophy Wife recorded this new song from their upcoming debut album for Abbey Road Debuts.
The show is going to put a focus on some of the best new music around whilst at the same time having the artist record the songs in the world-famous Abbey Road studios in front of a small audience. The first two installments are for Trophy Wife and Mount Kimbie and although the Mount Kimbie piece is done, shortly after Anorak upped the song to their Soundcloud page they swiftly removed it/made it private, so I’d imagine it won’t be much longer until that’s up for good.
Trophy Wife’s previous songs that we’ve heard over the last few months are followed in the same vein as “Discovery”, however the latter is definitely less electronic; whether that’s because of the session or if it’s how it’ll be in its mastered form remains to be seen.
