Six months ago one of my favourite albums of the year was given an iTunes bonus disc release; Yuck‘s self-titled debut album.
On that bonus version were a couple of tracks not on the regular version, and although it’s been out for six months or so today they decided to give us one of said new tracks: “Cousin Corona”.
I’m not sure why they left this off of the album because it’s actually better than a couple of the cuts on the album itself, but at least we have it, and the reason we have it today is because on October 10th their label Fat Possum will release a deluxe edition of their album featuring this track, another new one called “Soothe Me”, and the b-sides from the singles they released this year.
