[Listen] – New Song By Yuck – “Milkshake”

If the world’s supply of wax runs out then you know who to blame; Yuck, that’s who.

Why?  Because they’re releasing a new frickin’ vinyl every two weeks.  Or at least that’s what it seems like.  Part of me is complaining (the part that holds the wallet) and part of me is rejoicing (the part that holds the vinyl), but most importantly I just love hearing new music by these guys. Maybe it’s because they’re harnessing the best parts of my early music-enjoying years in the 90′s in such a way that at some points makes me feel like I’m actually back in the 90′s, recording new Oasis songs from the radio to tape, playing (proper) Football until it was dark, and having unnecessarily long hair.

“Milkshake” is actually the B-side to their next single “Shook Down”, which is a good song but one of my least favourite from their nothing-short-of-exemplary self-titled debut album.  You can check it out below and check back in another two weeks for their next single (maybe).  No links yet to buy the vinyl, but their last single “Get Away” (announced maybe two weeks ago?) is available to buy from the band themselves for about $11.
