Listen to Radiohead‘s newly surfaced demo “Putting Ketchup In The Fridge”, reportedly from their “The Bends” sessions.
The guys over at 130BPM found this new demo by Radiohead via a 4Chan post from their sessions when they recorded “The Bends” in 1995. There are three titles for the song : One is a name that the dudes on 4Chan made up (Putting Ketchup In The Fridge), another being “How Do You Sit Still” (the lyrics from the chorus), and the most common one is The title on the CD this song came from is “Putting Ketchup In The Fridge”, the other one being “Haven’t Got A Hope” which is a much better title.
There are also two slightly different versions doing the rounds, one of which has a pause in the audio around the 2:04 mark, the other does not, which is what’s below. I don’t see this being from anything after “The Bends” due to the complete change in sound from “The Bends” to “OK Computer”, but it could’ve been done afterwards and then scrapped. Hit us up in the comments with what you think about it.
