When Sleigh Bells, my band and album of 2010, dropped the teaser trailer for their upcoming album I was beyond excited. Whilst criticised for being unlistenable due to their cacophonous wall of noise that’s almost over-powering and was through their entire debut album, I couldn’t get enough of it.
Now they’re back with a new album “Reign Of Terror” due out in early 2012 and below you can hear the first cut from the album “Born To Lose”, courtesy of Zane Lowe’s radio show. Of course you’re going to have to stand about 12ft away from your speakers in order to keep the hearing in both of your ears, but it’s well worth a perforated ear drum.
