Sleigh Bells will release the follow-up to their citicially-acclaimed debut album “Treats” next week, and for a week until that happens you can stream the entire thing over at the New York Times’ website.
The album, which leaked yesterday, is out on February 21st via Mom + Pop, has been met with mixed reactions so far, some saying it’s too balladic compared to “Treats”, some saying it doesn’t slay as much, and some say it’s an improvement, more mature and not as brutal as “Treats”, and if the tracks we’ve heard so far such as “Born To Lose” and “Comeback Kid” are any indication, the “balladic” part may be true.
