Washed Out‘s new album has been receiving praise almost across the board, including from us where Austin described it as sounding “like a guy who just drank his entire codeine syrup prescription all at once, singing and playing a synth through a delay pedal over a drum machine, all while spelunking in a magnificent cave”.
The debut single from the album “Eyes Be Closed” got its official release on 12″ vinyl and is backed by remixes, one by Star Slinger another by Lovelock, and one by Grimes that was posted online a month ago, both of the new ones though you can check out below.
