The Japanese always get the good shit, like vending machines that take credit cards and sell women’s undies, crazy-good monsters, and bonus tracks on albums.
Such is the case with the latest tUnE-yArDs album “W H O K I L L”, where Some Kind Of Awesome spotted this little ditty “Party Can” just chilling on the bonus tracks section of the album that nobody outside of Japan knew about.
The recording isn’t polished like the rest of the tracks on the album and doesn’t quite hit the eccentricities of said songs, but it’s unmistakably tUnE-yArDs. Off the wall, loud, scattered, and attention-grabbing, it’s another quality take from another impressive album by Merrill Garbus.
