You haven’t heard from me about the band in Heaven for nigh-on nine months now, and you might not have even heard about them at all, so for those of you who fall int that category here’s what you need to know.
A duo from Florida, they use their craft to bundle up snappy and harmonious firecrackers that sound as though they’re being let loose via burning amps. If that sounds like your bag then check out my intro piece on them and peep the two new ones below. Being released as a single called “Seven Minutes In Heaven” (the length of both songs combined is seven minutes) that you can grab from their Bandcamp page, the first song is murderous.
Reminding me of The Raveonettes after having their drinks spiked with Queens Of The Stone Age pills, “Sleazy Dreams” is raucous, whilst “If You Only Knew” kicks off with a Middle Eastern sounding vibe and quickly follows down the My Bloody Valentine path of atmospheric sobriety.
