No warning, no information, no idea.
That’s how I roll, and so far it hasn’t worked out very well for me so maybe I should switch things up a bit, but it’s also what happened with this super-limited surprise 12″ release from Thom Yorke, Burial, and Four Tet. Outta nowhere this morning (March 15th) it was announced that it’ll be seeing a release date of March 21st and that there were two songs on it, with no artwork and only a couple of places to buy it (at the time of writing (9am EST) Rough Trade was out of stock already and Banquet only had six copies left….there were 17 when I got mine).
One song being called “Ego” and the other being called “Mirror”, both featuring Thom Yorke on vocals, they were both played last night on Rinse FM and you can hear radio rips below. En to the joy.
