So far this is the third time I’ve done this and it might even be the third time you’ve had to read this.
Almost three months ago I made a post looking for help with the site, people to write reviews or post new music etc and I got a couple of great guys who’ve been helping me out, but the site is growing a lot faster than it was the last time I asked (I’ve gone from 36k pageviews in July, to 63k August, 80k in September, and 94k in October…..and I get about 40 emails a day), and in order to get everything done on the site and all of the music listened to in a timely fashion, I need more hands. So here’s what I wrote the last time, and it applies here too.
This is just a quick post to say that I’m looking for journalists and seasoned writers who might be interested in writing for ListenBeforeYouBuy to get in touch. By journalists and seasoned writers I mean anyone who’s willing and can type. Can you type? Are you willing? The job’s yours.
In all seriousness though things are starting to pick up for the site, a lot faster than I had anticipated, and so now I’m looking for some people to help out with it either by writing reviews, posting new music, finding artists….pretty much everything I’ve been doing. It’s a non-paying job. Actually, it’s not even a job, it’s just something I enjoy doing, so if you’d like to spread your love of music with the world just for the joy of doing so, then get in touch with me.
Important: The last couple of times I was just looking for casual contributions, but this time I’m looking for some serious people who can dedicate some time to this, at the very least with one post a week, but ideally with one post a day. Some perks do include the opportunity to get on guest lists for shows and receive promo materials from bands, as well as being able to say that you discovered the next big thing.
