After a couple of years with no new music to their name, Yeasayer have returned in rather unorthodox fashion.

Members of the band’s mailing list received a CD today that contained this brand new track “Henrietta”, one that they’ve been playing live for a while, and one they’ve been hinting at on Twitter, and if it’s a taste of what’s to come from the band it’s a slight change from the bubbling, maddening, soaring synth-pop found on their last album “Odd Blood”.

The band are releasing a new album this year and this may well be the first cut from it, and they also just announced a bunch of Summer shows you’re bound to hear more than just this.
