Like a gift to our ears from 1976 comes “You Take Time” by Bleached.
I find it strange that when brothers create a band more often than not it ends up being some chilled out folk/harmony kind of thing but when sisters get together it’s almost the status quo for them to come out with just straight up rock, such is Bleached. Am I being sexist to have the preconceived notion going in that it would be the other way around? Irrelevant.
Bleached are a duo out of Los Angeles consisting of sisters Jessica and Jennifer Clavin. The four have found a way to channel late 70′s rock via early 90′s garage-grunge, “You Take Time” is a perfect example of this.
They will be putting out “Searching Through The Past” a new limited edition 7″ on December 6th through Suicide Squeeze.
