North Carolina band Bowerbirds have announced that they’re getting ready to release their third album “The Clearing” in the early months of 2012, and in doing so have given away the first taste of new music from the band since they released 2009′s “Upper Air”, an album that saw their profile rise greatly.
“Tuck The Darkness In” has that groundswell that was present on “Upper Air”, drawing comparisons to Fleet Foxes and Grizzly Bear, harmonies like they’re going out of fashion, and multi-person pile-up on the backing vocals. Hot diggity dang (that’s what the kids say, right?) this is getting me excited for their new album. Hey Bowerbirds, send me your new album!
