[Listen/Download] – CEO – “Come With Me” & “Prologue”

You only really need one person to make music, as long as they have hands, or even a nose and a mouth it’ll work, but thankfully Eric Berglund has all of his limbs. This is a good thing because not only is he able to do more than one thing at a time, but the more limbs a person has the better the music sounds, it’s just a scientific fact.

As half of The Tough Alliance, he’s now 100% of CEO, a collaboration between Modular Records and Yours Sincerely.  With a 7″ already out and “Come With me” as a free download, the debut album “White Magic” is due out on June 29th.  The fact that so many people are enjoying his only (two) publicly available songs so much (only “Come With Me” is longer than two minutes) may have something to do with the catchy chorus  and the simple lo-fi, mellow synths.

We don’t have much longer to wait for the LP but the excitement surrounding it based on basically one song means it should more than suffice.  Check out the two songs below and watch the video for “Come With Me”.
