It’s been a hot minute since we last wrote about Cheerleader, that being when we wrote our Intro piece on them back in June 2011.
At that point they only had two songs, “New Daze” and “Dreamer”, both tipping hats towards a radiant Lo-Fi Indie-Rock, faces facing the sun and soaking in its brilliant light. This week they graced us with their third song, “Do What You Want” which reminds me of Australian band from the early aughts The Sleepy Jackson.
So far three songs in to this band’s catalogue, we might just hear one of the better debut albums of 2012 in a few months. Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments.
