Having seemingly just been released for no other reason than to promote their newly-announced “Minimum” tour (in which they visit three cities only), Cold War Kids just dropped two brand new tracks via their website.
“Minimum Day” and “Minimum Mistake” are both standard Cold War Kids affairs, so we’re not hearing much of a change in sound from the band, which is fine by me. Having gone off the radar a little since their excellent 2006 debut album “Robbers & Cowards”, they’ve gained new fans by not really giving much of a shit about negative press and by continuing to turn out heaving Indie-Rock jams, present on 2011′s “Mine Is Yours”.
