Contrakids have unleashed their third new track in as many months, which can only be a good thing. At this rate I can only assume an album is due any minute. “Younger” sees them picking up the pace compared to their last couple of releases, bringing back the driving feel of one of the first tracks of theirs I heard: “Into You”.
The boys also toy with some layering on the vocals in the breakdown, which I haven’t heard from them before. The results are pretty nice. It goes without saying that they have a great ear for infectious synth riffs, and “Younger” certainly delivers on that front.
