One thing I do very very rarely is copy and paste a press release.

I won’t do that here, but I will give a nod towards what was sent to me, in that they’re a three piece band consisting of a conjoint, raw, forceful drummer, named Brian Lackey. A soaring set of keys, mixed with an insane vocal box named Angel Bond, and a gargantuan wave of guitar known as Bryan Harder.  If you mix Peaches with Iggy Pop and Yeah Yeah Yeahs you’ll get close to the sound of Cusses, an emotional and atmospheric punk trio who, as the handsome guys at Tympanogram pointed out, seem to have immersed themselves in 80s New-Wave New York.

I got in touch with the band who let me post the two songs you’re about to hear below, one of which is on their debut EP “Thurst” which you can grab from iTunes, and the other is from “2nds” which is out on August 3rd.
