A couple of weeks ago I was given the absolute joy of listening to a few songs by J. Irvin Dally.
He’d sent me a couple of his tracks and after listening to those I went looking for more. I found his Bandcamp page and was blown away, his voice unwavering and tinged with the spirit of Jeff Buckley and the passion of Cat Power. The songs I was listening to were part of an EP that he released on Parisian label Camaraderie Limited whilst traveling in Europe, of which only 100 were made and all released in Europe.
He gave me permission to post two of his songs not featured on the above-mention EP, below you can hear those and download “Runaways”. If you give his Bandcamp page a visit you can listen to the entire EP and download the whole thing for just $5.
