[Listen/Download] – New EP By Badly Drawn Boy – “It’s What They’re All Thinking”

I’ve been looking forward to new stuff from must-be-sweaty-from-always-wearing-a-knitted-hat Damon Gough for a while.

With his new album imminent (October 4th), he’s been pretty cool about letting us hear bits and pieces from it, either by uploading demos, unfinished tracks, or half-songs, and so now he’s gotten together a few of those and made it into a handy little EP for us called “It’s What They’re All Thinking”, available to download from his site for free.  It’s a fairly varied four-track EP, the first song is a two minute sample, the second is an acoustic number, the third (which took me completely by surprise and I had to literally try to figure out if I was still listening to BDB or something else) is an 8-bit, Electro jam that’s nothing like any of his stuff that I’ve heard before, and the fourth is a piano-led ballad.

Listen to it below or download it from here (20MB)
