A few months back when it was warm and sunny and dogs were dying in hot cars, Teen Daze was churning out new tunes like it was nobodies business.
The songs in question were more electronic-driven, falling into the “Chillwave” category if you will, but with this new “Beach Dreams” EP he’s taken a different turn and gone down a more guitar-led, Lo-Fi drenched road. The weather here is turning baltic and snow has already begun to fall, so in the hopes of this Winter going quickly and to keep myself from going into hibernation to avoid it, I’ll be spinning this new Teen Daze EP.
Four songs long, its feet are firmly stuck into the sand of a warm and desolate beach, more than likely somewhere on the west coast and presumably with lifeguards running along it, chiseled and oily, just waiting for some tool to get dragged underwater by a crack-whore Octopus. He’s released the whole thing for free on his Bandcamp page so give two of the songs below a listen and mosey on over and get the other two.
