[Listen/Download] – New Song By Beady Eye – “Bring The Light”

This is our first taster of any new music from anyone from Oasis since they split.

Beady Eye is Liam’s new band which is pretty much just Oasis without Noel, and that’s kinda what they sound like too.  I’ve spoken about Oasis on here before and they’re by far the biggest musical influence I’ve ever had and subsequently changed my life. Towards the end there they ended up just churning out tunes that were lazy and boring and did nothing for not many people, but they still managed make a few gems.

So “Bring The Light” by Beady Eye;  Fairly boring.  I’m now wondering if Liam can put his voice on anything and it not sound like Oasis, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but if it all sounds the same then what’s the point?  I get the impression that the entire Beady Eye album will sound like all the worst bits from the last three Oasis albums and it’s what I expected before I even heard the song.
